SCANDINAVIAN INSPIRATION
For the European designed Studio7 series our design team imagined a minimalist design. The organic cabinet shape was inspired by Nordic nature, and its rounded corners resemble pebbles on the Danish coast, smoothed by the ebb and flow of water. The Thor's hammer shape on the woofers' paper cone is inspired by the axe used by the god Thor in Norse mythology. The matching fabric grilles bring softness and protection in shades of monochromatic nature.

7 IS THE MAGIC NUMBER
By tilting the cabinet back just 7° and mounting it on an elegant plinth that houses the speaker crossover, we ensure a more coherent sound stage and nicer blend of bass with medium and high frequencies. The time-alignment of the drive units‘ acoustic center helps minimize timing anomalies that can occur in a more traditional enclosure.
A SOUND AS PURE AS SCANDINAVIAN AIR
When a speaker driver produces sound, energy spreads across the speaker's baffle towards the edge of the cabinet. Thanks to rounded corners on the cabinet, diffraction is reduced so energy can dissipate gently and naturally without coloring the signal.
EXTERNAL CROSSOVER PLINTH
By positioning the binding post on the back of the plinth, microphonics are reduced, inductors are kept away from harmful vibrations and cables are easy to connect, making for a tranquil setup and listening experience.
HEAR ONLY WHAT MATTERS
The Jamo Studio speakers' cabinet walls are thicker (15mm MDF with 18mm front baffle) and critically braced to ensure a low degree of self-noise. This design allows you to hear more low-level detail and increases resolution when playing at any output level, compared to competing products in their class.
50 YEAR LEGACY
Our story started in 1968 in Glyngøre, a tiny fishing village nestled on the north shore of Denmark. Jamo was founded by two brothers-in-law, Preben Jacobsen and Julius Mortensen.
